Beaver Scouts
For boys and girls aged 6-8. Around 25 meet on Fri evening

Cub Scouts
For boys and girls aged 8-10. Arond 40 meet on Wed evening

Scouts
For boys and girls aged 10-14. Around 150 meet on Tues, Thurs and Fri evenings

Explorer Scouts
Around fifteen young people from the villages aged 14-18 attend the Silver Phoenix Explorer Unit, which is based in Potters Bar. Contact us for more information.

North Mymms Scouts

Our lively and active Scout Troop meets on Tuesdays from 7-9pm or Fridays from 7:30-9:30pm.

Scouts are run under the leadership of James, with help from Paul, Adam, Ian, John, and Andrew with Anna, Steph, Ed, Jay, Adam, Simon and Joe helping as young leaders. We currently have around 125 scouts spread over the two nights.

Availability: (April 2009)

  • Tues Troop 'A" - 2 spaces
  • Tues Troop 'B' - FULL

  • Friday Troop 'A' - FULL
  • Friday Troop 'B' - FULL

Each troop can take up to 32 young people. Tues and Fri 'B' troop is currently mixed, whilst the 'A' Troops are currently boys only. That's not to say that girls are not welcome to join on those dates, but if you would prefer to be with other girls head for the B ones...
